Krithi: Can you please let me know how to go to Adv Parole side. Although we have had them but have never used them before. So I need to guide my wife towards this AP area.
So in order to show or use AP my wife has to go and line up in the visa queue OR she has to go to Permanent Resident/Citizens side and from there they will route to this AP check/processing area. Please advise.
Sorry with my fundamental questions but I have never used my APs till now.

You have to go and line up in the visa line NOT citizens/PR line (since you are not one). Just carry all relevant docs - EVL (if applicable), receipt notice copy of 485, both originals of AP, etc...

As proof of funds for landing, do we need to carry cashiers-checks etc or just a plain printout of bank-statement (INGDirect) is good enough?

In countries like Europe people need not come USA just for survival as that is a developed country. Also if they have to wait 10 years to get GC then no Europeans will apply GC as GC is not that much importance. USA will lose them. But it is not the case for indians. If you go out of country then hundreds of people are waiting to take your position in next flight in India. May be in future if Indians also does not bother about GC USA will come and give GC fast.
Why they are not blaming pakistanis? They are small in numbers. In 1990s Indians also were given warm welcome as the number was small and abuses were less. Now over 40K h1bs plus 50K L1s were given in an year. Total number of H1b and L1 are more than 200k. Even most optimistic survey tells that 100k new high tech jobs are created per year that too in good times . Certainly we cannot deny displacement of US workers by immigrants. Now we started justifying this also by capitilism,globalization etc. But basically future of h1b and any other immigration program will depend on USA people support eventhough politics plays a siginificant role. Can we get support of USA citizens for expanding immigration when economy is severe recession?

So many come to US on visa free travel, work 6 months undocumented from european countries, yet they are the first to get the GCs while Indians abuse B1, they abuse H1. SORRY Fellas, I cannot send this out unless the provision for H1b nenewal be added to it. I know IVs main concern is reg the backlogged GC cases, however, I would request that future of the H1b should also be addresed. I now feel that even contributing to the IV was a mistake because you are not taking a broader view of this issue. Please try to include the clauses affecting H1bs also in your letters. Particularly simple technical aspects like renewing H1b beyond the 6 years period is a MUST and one of the things that can be MOST easily achieved if asked for.

Per my lawyer,
1. USCIS does not mandate that you must inform when you invoke AC21. You can inform them if and when you get RFE.
2. I strongly believe that we should not accept job offers that is not related to the job you originally applied for. My lawyer says it is usually vague and if USCIS determines other wise I will be in trouble. And for the same reason I am hesitant to accept very good employee offer from my current client.
3. Self employment is ok as long as the requirements are met and that is what is I am doing now.

The answer is in your question. Numbers. A few years ago (circa 2002-) no one complained much about Indians. Recently the complaints in the media/forums etc. are much higher. Why ? More H1, => more bodyshoppers (mainly India) => more abuse => more complaints and so on.
Also FYI, H1 is "temporary" just like F1. H1 is not a guarantee to GC. So you need to go back after 6 years, since you say F1 should leave after graduation.

How can contributing $1000.00 to immigration voice solves this problem? You are telling like a swami's in India, give me money I will do some pooja on your behalf and all your problems will be solved.
The money is not for me or for the Immigration Voice but for the lobbying to make the uscis or the government understand how the employment based GC system is outdated, and how the people who came to usa with an American Dream are being played by the rules not for days or weeks or months but for years and years. And procrastinating their American Dream because of the limitations they have during the GC process.
Active participation or contribution of 10 or 20 or 100 people wont be any effective unless and untill we all do it collectively.

I wish and pray that God gives strength to you and your family in this difficult situation. And as fellow IV'ns have mentioned, Prayer and Faith in Life/Almighty can do wonders. By the attitude in your note, I do feel you have that ... and somehow I have a feeling things will be fine for you and your family.
As suggested by many people, if possible, please do get a 2nd opinion from a renowned doctor in India. And do start Yoga/Pranayam. Meditation and proper breathing exercise have helped folks with very serious conditions and these are surely worth trying.
And for your GC, I would second the suggestions of writing to senator and USCIS.
Your family should be your reason to continue to have faith and NOT give up...
