My Attorney mailed 225 Packages via DHL shipped at June 30 12:00 EST on Saturday, I was 5 minutes late so mine went on 4:00 PM FEDEX.
I dont why FEDEX guys are delivering yet they said will eb delivered by 8:00 AM on Monday but their website shows "Estimated delivery Jul 2, 2007 by 10:30 AM" it is 10:30 already and there is no update yet(may be they don't have enough trucks to carry all the application to DOS).

I had a chance to file in EB2 with master's degree but my attorney screwed it up and filed in EB3 category instead and now i can't even port to EB2 as my company is no longer supporting new PERM applications due to bad economy. I am usually optimistic but with the current economic conditions and bleak chances of any immigration fix, I feel we are fighting a losing battle. God help us all in EB3 category.

Tell me what wrong he did for him to apologize and I will apologize to you. When nothing is permanent he worked with them for 1 and half years, he got them 4 employees. Why in the world should he apologize?.
When you say that you will not need your clients you are wrong. when I was searching for projects I got a chance to apply to a job opening in one of my previous client, guess what, the start to my second stint was smooth just because I had a good rapport with my client and they liked my work. I even got one of my team mates in my client place to give me a referral for my higher studies.
"Your ex boss is not a bad guy, he knows you are leaving for better opportunity".He is not only a bad guy, he is evil IF (note the big IF) he is keeping the money which is not his. Their conscience should prick when they feed and give excellent education to their kids with the ill gotten money.
Unfortunately one might need his ex-employer in future (might not always be the case) and that is the irony of it all.

No. It is a good company and are very careful with things. I have never been in consulting. One good thing they did unlike other companies is they anticipated career growth and filed GC for a higher position and I could gladly accept promotion in my career.

If you live in MA, go to http://kennedy.senate.gov/ and select 'case work' from Constituents Services. If you live in another state, go to your state's senator's website and find link to send them request related to cases pending with gov. agencies.
BTW - I received physical EAD cards with two year validity in mail on 9/11

No, I didn't get my receipt yet. I called my lawyer and she said that the checks haven't cleared yet. It's taking toooo long. I don't know what's going on. Anybody in the same situation?

I am in same situation who has sept 10th ND from TSC , no FP for me or my wife. I did open a SR and i got a response letter saying that either your FP has expired or clearance has not been received.. will send one by mail soon.
It has already been 45 days since the letter was dated. NO FP nothing.
Has going to IO helped anybody is getting a FP notice? That seems my last resort.
If its TSC then I do not think it will help at all. Whenever I talk to IO their only response if they are waiting for availability at local ASC.
So TSC people are out of luck.

For those of you joining us late, here is some info about this thread.
1. This is to do our least part to the core IV Team for their selfless sacrifice, for all of us getting the benefits of legal immigration. Note that , Aman Kapoor , the co-founder of IV has done his part by sacrificing $64,000/- from his own personal funds towards the administrative costs of IV. Yes you read it right , it is $64,000/- We come to know from his co-worker that he has sold his house towards running this show for us.
2. We have not yet figured out a way to reimburse these costs as IV does not yet have administrative costs part of the expenditure allocation, as we understand it. So instead of a wait and watch, we decided to go ahead with collecting the pledge from the members on the amount they are putting forth for reimbursing the amount. Once we come up with a strategy(members we look for your suggestions on how to get this done, please add your comments) we will instruct the members pledged to pay out.
So do not pay it directly to the IV core funds, yet.
Please help us spread the message about this thread in other threads by copy and pasting the following in other threads too.
There is a funding drive in this other thread towards reimbursing Aman and other core IV member's expenses towards the administrative costs of IV.

I filed I-485, I-131, I-765 for myself, my spouse and my 10 year old daughter. The papers were received at NSC on 30th July, 07. Three days back we received all the receipt notices with receipt date shown as Aug 1 and notice date shown as sept. 10. All fine so far.
I then went to USCIS site to check on-line status, but here was the surprise. It gave the correct status of all the receipt notices, except that of I-485 and I-131 for my daughter. When I key in her receipt nos., I get the message that these nos. don't exist and I should enter the correct no.
Now what is that? How come my and my spouse's record is entered but not of our daughter's inspite of the fact that we have her receipt notices with a proper receipt no.
Can someone suggest what could be the reason and what course of action I need to take so that the situation is corrected. Help please

All EB categories will be current all the time. As soon as a I485 EB case is filed the visa number should be allocated to the first 8000 odd cases for that category based on the PD of application. If a new case is filed tomorrow with a old PD he will get the visa number and the last guys application will move to waiting list. At the beginning of the year all visa numbers are allocated and nothing is wasted, even if the case is having issues like RFE, FBI check, etc the applicant knows that once cleared he will get his GC.
Can you explain why you think the lawyers will laugh it off? Or is it just that you say it because someone is saying something which you don't agree with?
A clarification regarding the flower campaign. I said the AILA law suit and the congresswomen letter to the chief also had lot of weight. It is just not the flower campaign for your information, if you beleive so it is your opinion just like I have mine.
So what's your suggestion to fix the issue?
Since you consider that IV did nothing to reverse July 2 VB, why are you hanging around here? If you credit AILA/AILF why don't you write to them to file Class Action against USCIS to process case FIFO? They might do it or they might just laugh it off

I am shocked to hear the sad news. My god give peace to his wife and his kid. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.
His family is a victim of RETROGRESSION. Otherwise they can still live in USA.
